Round Rock Fire Foundation - Board of Directors

Hunter Leatherman, Vice President, Business and Community Banking, Frontier Bank of Texas

Hunter Leatherman’s deep ties to Round Rock make supporting this community a personal calling. Raised by two prominent local bankers, Hunter has witnessed firsthand the spirit of unity that defines Round Rock. As Vice President of Business and Community Banking at Frontier Bank of Texas, he is proud to serve the community he’s called home his entire life.

Hunter’s connection to the Round Rock Fire Foundation is personal. In 2024, while in Leadership Round Rock with Wylie Brownell, he learned the story behind the Foundation’s creation—and the fact that he went to school with Bailey, Wylie and Diedra’s daughter, made it even more meaningful. Hunter’s lifelong respect for those who serve others made joining RRFF feel like a natural fit.

Outside of work, Hunter values family and the outdoors. He and his wife, Paige, are raising their two children, Palmer (3) and Easton (4 months), in Williamson County. When not at the bank or with his family, he enjoys duck hunting, training retrievers, and revisiting his past as a scratch golfer (he’ll get back there eventually). Hunter lives by the mantra: “Nobody cares. Work harder,” balanced by Theodore Roosevelt’s words: “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”

Hunter’s favorite part of Round Rock? “Round Rock always shows up. No questions asked.” From loading buses during the 2011 Bastrop fires to supporting local businesses during the pandemic, Hunter has witnessed the community’s unwavering support. On the RRFF board, he’s dedicated to ensuring the Foundation has the strength and resources to support firefighters and their families. The 1884 Fund, in particular, resonates with him for its immediate impact on families in crisis—honoring sacrifices, easing burdens, and standing strong for the families who stand behind our firefighters.
