With 37 years of public service, Laurie has built a legacy of vision and leadership that has shaped our community and inspired those around her. As the former City Manager of Round Rock, she led the city through rapid growth, building a community recognized for its innovation, safety, and exceptional quality of life. Respected for both her leadership and compassion, Laurie continues to champion initiatives that strengthen and uplift those who protect and serve.

Originally from Arizona, Laurie and her husband, Jim, made Texas their home while raising three grown children—Katie, Thomas, and Michael. Serving on the Round Rock Fire Foundation board allows her to give back to those who protect and serve, a cause that reflects her lifelong dedication to public service. Laurie is especially passionate about the 1884 Fund, which provides immediate support to fire families during moments of crisis—a cause she believes embodies the very heart of community. The Foundation is deeply honored to have Laurie’s expertise and leadership guiding its mission.
